# An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding a fire at a building in Sunnyside, Pretoria, which left two people dead on Sunday. The City of Tshwane emergency services responded to a structural fire around 4 am at Sunnyside. Upon arrival at the De Williershof residential building, firefighters found the basement engulfed in flames. Tshwane Emergency Services spokesperson, Nana Radebe-Kgiba, says the two victims are believed to have died from smoke inhalation:
