# The City of Tshwane says it will reopen public swimming pools today for the Spring season. The pools were initially closed in 2024 due to water shortages. The metro had planned to reopen them on Monday, but a delay in chlorine delivery scuppered the timeline. Mayoral committee member for Environment and Agriculture, Obakeng Ramabodu, says minor refurbishments at all regional swimming pools will be carried out to improve their customer offering to residents.
