# In an effort to address the non-ferrous metal and essential infrastructure-related crimes, Gauteng police recovered copper cable worth approximately three-million-rand at an unregistered scrapyard in De Deur. Five foreign nationals were arrested. Police spokesperson, Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, says they also seized homemade stoves, reportedly used to burn the copper:
