# Gauteng premier Panyaza Lesufi has announced the re-launch of Nasi iSpani, to create 45-thousand jobs and training opportunities for young people who are not working or studying. The programme will provide internships, work-integrated learning, artisanal and technical skills development, and public service roles. Lesufi told the media the initiative aims to build state capacity, reduce unemployment, and equip young people for future jobs:
