# Soil of Africa Civic Movement is calling on the government, parents, and community members to work together to strengthen school safety. The movement’s Joseph Maake says that recently, a learner was allegedly found in possession of two firearms, drugs, and a large sum of money at Ribane Laka Secondary School in Mamelodi East. He says they will be conducting a comprehensive oversight visit at the school to assess the challenges facing both learners and educators:
