Former Limpopo ANC Youth League leader gets 20 years for corruption

# The former Limpopo ANC Youth League deputy president Rubben Mohlaloga has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after the Supreme Court of Appeal dismissed his final bid to overturn his conviction. Mohlaloga was found guilty of fraud and money laundering after diverting six-million-rand in Agri-Black Economic Empowerment funds from the Land Bank. The money, meant for emerging farmers, was used for luxury purchases. The court said the sentence stresses the serious breach of public trust.
