City of Tshwane criticised for court action against the Kleinfontein informal settlement

# The Kleinfontein informal settlement has accused the City of Tshwane of trying to remove the Afrikaner community. Kleinfontein is one of about 17 illegal developments in the metro and consists of about 650 housing units. The City of Tshwane has lodged an urgent application in the High Court in Pretoria, seeking to stop any form of construction, development, advertising, allocating or selling of shares or stands at the informal settlement. Kleinfontein board CEO Stefan Wiese says they are disappointed by the metro’s decision to approach the courts.
