# The National Prosecuting Authority in the Eastern Cape has welcomed the sentencing of three men to life imprisonment for the calculated assassination of police detective, warrant officer, Phumlani Dastile who was murdered in Zwelitsha in August 2021. The NPA’s spokesperson, Luxolo Tyali says Thando Mangolwane, Siyabonga  Zimela, and Siphelo Bebe killed Dastile in revenge for the conviction of Bebe, the mastermind, who was already serving multiple life sentences for violent crimes committed in 2018:
