# The Freedom Front Plus in Gauteng is warning the Ekurhuleni Municipality against being lulled into a false sense of security by its current bank balance of 1.1-billion-rand. This equates to 21 days of operating costs. FF Plus’ Denise Janse van Rensburg says the figure is misleading, as it does not account for the 5.79-billion-rand currently owed to Eskom or the 439-million-rand owed to Rand Water.
