# Home Affairs deputy minister Njabulo Nzuza says it’s unclear how long repairs to the fire-damaged Germiston offices will take, as structural engineers must assess safety. Nzuza says the leased building falls under the Public Works and Infrastructure Department, with two years left on its lease. Nzuza told the SABC News that some equipment and staff vehicles were removed, but much remains inside. He expressed relief that no staff were injured:
