# Renovations to the accident and emergency unit at Far East Rand Hospital in Ekurhuleni in Gauteng will start on 22 August and last four months. During this time, emergency services will be temporarily relocated within the hospital to ensure care continues without interruption. The department’s Motalatale Modiba says some services will move to other clinical areas, while a temporary structure outside will cater for general outpatient services:
