Chief Justice Maya introduces Sexual Harassments Policy for Judiciary

# Chief Justice Mandisa Maya has unveiled a Sexual Harassment Policy for the Judiciary, reinforcing a zero-tolerance stance on abuse of power. The move follows growing calls for action within the legal profession following the Judicial Conduct Tribunal investigation into conduct of Eastern Cape High Court Judge President Selby Mbenege, accused by a judges secretary, Andiswa Mengo. Advocacy groups like Judges Matter emphasised the need to focus on comprehensive policies and investigations to halt sexual harrasment incidences. Maya says the policy will strengthen accountability and foster respect within the Judiciary.
