# The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union in Gauteng has strongly condemned the fatal shooting of two SAPS detectives that happened yesterday in Roodepoort. The officers were ambushed while transporting a prisoner from the local magistrates court, who later fled in a police vehicle.
