Action Society rejects R148-million Madlanga Commission as futile [SOUND]

# Action Society has criticised president Cyril Ramaphosa for failing to fire Police minister Senzo Mchunu, who faces serious allegations of colluding with crime syndicates. The organisation argues Ramaphosa’s decision to launch the costly 148-million-rand Madlanga Commission instead of removing Mchunu, is ineffective. Action Society’s Juanita du Preez believes this approach is unlikely to bring justice or real reform, just like the Zondo Commission:
