# The DA welcomes the Pretoria High Court ruling setting aside the City of Tshwane’s cleansing levy and declaring it unlawful and invalid. AfriForum brought the urgent application to set aside the metro’s decision to impose the new mandatory monthly levy of 194-rand-37-cents on about 260-thousand households and businesses.
