# The Gauteng Legislature’s portfolio committee on Community Safety has condemned the killing of six people in Olievenhoutbosch, Tshwane, over the weekend. They were shot dead at a tavern in Choba informal settlement, in what is believed to have stemmed from a gang turf war between Lesotho and Mozambican nationals. Committee chairperson Bandile Masuku says this incident underscores the urgent need for intensified efforts to shut down illegal establishments. He urges the public to assist in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
