# The University of Pretoria has opened nominations for the Student Representative Council 2025 elections. The university’s Kgadi Mathabathe says the SRC plays a critical role in shaping student life at the institution. She says from academic support and financial aid to wellness, transformation, and student advocacy, the SRC ensures that the voices of students are heard where it matters most. Mathabathe adds that the nomination process will close on the 4th of August:
