# Operation Shanela in Rietgat and Soshanguve in Pretoria resulted in the arrest of 343 suspects for various criminal offences over the weekend. The suspects were arrested for crimes ranging from murder, attempted murder, rape, assault, armed robbery and impersonating a police officer. Police spokesperson, Johan van Dyk, says 29 undocumented foreign nationals were also arrested during the operation:
