# The City of Cape Town’s Community Services and Health Directorate is planning a range of projects over the next 12 months costing 300-million-rand. This investment is part of a larger effort to improve community facilities and address various urban development needs. Mayoral committee member for Community Services and Health, Francine Higham, says the 45-million-rand upgrade project on cemeteries is the single biggest capital project. She adds that cemeteries planned for expansion of burial capacity include Kuils River, Welmoed and Rusthof:
