Reeve Frosler opened the scoring for Amakhosi in the 37th minute, but an own goal by Dillan Solomons early in the second half levelled the match. Andy Visser netted the winner for Vitesse in the 74th minute. Chiefs face Utrecht on Friday, with further fixtures against NEC Nijmegen, PEC Zwolle, and FC Twente.
