Cape Town’s Fire and Rescue responds to over 200 accidents in 10 days [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town says the Fire and Rescue Service responded to 162 motor vehicle accidents and 74 accidents involving pedestrians between June 27 and Sunday, 6 July. Law Enforcement Officers made 91 arrests and issued three-thousand-276 notices for various offences. Mayoral committee member for Safety and Security, JP Smith, says these statistics are a stark reminder of the importance of increased vigilance on the roads during wet weather conditions, for both motorists and pedestrians:
