Pep Guardiola’s side had come through the group stages unscathed but failed to reach the quarter-finals after conceding four goals in a haphazard defensive display. Al-Hilal produced a remarkable performance to win 4-3 at the Camping Stadium in Orlando in the USA, and will now face Brazilian side Fluminense in Friday’s quarter-final.
