# Soccer: The Premier Soccer League has confirmed the much anticipated 2025/26 season will kick off with the MTN8 quarter-finals on 1 August, as Orlando Pirates chase a fourth consecutive title. A week later, the Premiership begins, with Mamelodi Sundowns aiming to defend their crown. The Motsepe Foundation Championship starts on 22 August, while the Diski Challenge resumes on 6 September, with Kaizer Chiefs set to defend their title. Fixtures for the new season are yet to be released.
