Road Accident Fund flags alarming youth road deaths [SOUND]

# The Road Accident Fund reports that nearly 44-percent of personal claims in the last five years came from people aged 15 to 35-years old, amounting to over 70-thousand in total. Another 15-thousand claims were filed by those under 15-years old. From 2019 to 2023, over 24-thousand people aged 15 to 34-years old have died in crashes, with many killed as pedestrians or passengers. RAF spokesperson McIntosh Polela urged all road users to be cautious, especially during longer winter nights:
