# The ANC Study Group on Appropriations has welcomed the proposal of the Public Sector Pension and Related Payments Bill, which comes before the national assembly plenary today. The ANC’s Nonceba Gcaleka-Mazibuko says they are satisfied by the provisions of the Bill that will improve the administration of public sector related pension, post-retirement medical and other benefits to deserving Members. She says it will ease National Treasury from the administrative burdens posed by the current payment regime:
