# The City of Tshwane says repair work on the damaged pipeline in Soshanguve is complete. The repair work involved a technically complex process of joining an old asbestos pipe to a newer steel line. The metro’s spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo, says the full recovery of water pressure may take some time. He adds that water tankers will remain in place across the affected areas while the system recovers:
