# The Gauteng Health Department says more than one-thousand employees participated in the skills development programme. This initiative stems from a five-year partnership between the department and Boston City Campus, which has enabled staff to access accredited training tailored to professionals. The department’s spokesperson, Motalatale Modiba, says they are working to address workforce shortages, promote innovation, and improve service delivery:
