# KwaZulu-Natal has become the first province to unveil a digital Supply Chain Management system aimed at curbing fraud, corruption, and irregular spending. Launched by KZN Finance MEC Francois Rodgers in Pietermaritzburg, the system will pilot during the 2025/26 financial year’s 158-billion-rand budget. Rodgers says it promises transparency, efficiency, and accountability in procurement. He also announced a new Data Analysis Centre, featuring a live financial dashboard to track spending, revenue, debt, and staffing across provincial departments.
