# The City of Tshwane says the ongoing water supply interruption currently affecting Soshanguve and surrounding areas, serviced by the Kruisfontein Reservoir, remains an urgent priority. The disruption stems from a burst asbestos pipe that plays a key role in supplying water to several parts of Soshanguve. The metro’s spokesperson, Lindela Mashigo, says the pipe burst was detected on Saturday:
