# The Public Servants Association has condemned the proposed establishment of the South African State Digital Infrastructure Company. The state-owned entity is aimed at consolidating fibre networks from Sentech, Broadband Infraco, Transnet, Eskom and others. PSA’s spokesperson, Claude Naiker, says a new entity will place an additional financial strain on taxpayers already burdened by poor management and frequent bailouts of existing state-owned enterprises:
