Department of Labour targets construction and hospitality sectors in Knysna inspections [SOUND]

# The Department of Employment and Labour will today and tomorrow conduct targeted inspections in the construction and hospitality sectors in Knysna in the Western Cape. This is part of a programme led by minister Nomakhosazana Meth to bring services closer to people. The checks will make sure businesses follow labour laws. Ministry spokesperson Thobeka Magcai says the programme also helps with unemployment claims, job registrations, injury claims, and teaching workers about their rights:
