DA rejects minister Groenewald’s blame-shifting in disappearance of convicted criminals in Pollsmoor [SOUND]

# The DA rejects Correctional Services minister Pieter Groenewald’s attempt to shift blame to the Western Cape Department of Social Development, for the disappearance of three convicted criminals from custody. The men convicted of murder, rape, and robbery, were remanded to Pollsmoor Juvenile Centre by order of the Western Cape High Court after attacking a child youth care worker last year. The DA’s, Nicholas Gotsell, says, however, they disappeared, with one being re-arrested in April, another last week, and the third remains unaccounted for.
