Health experts urge action as vaping ads target students

# Experts have highlighted the health risks associated with smoking as Health deputy minister Joe Phaahla holds a World No Tobacco Day event today. The South African Medical Research Council reveals over 76-percent of university students have seen e-cigarette promotions, including free samples. The council is calling for urgent action against vaping advertisements targeting students. Expert have made a call to action to the Health Department to launch awareness campaigns, warning that vaping pressures teens and poses serious health risks.
