# Athletics South Africa president James Moloi has secured a second term following elections held yesterday. Moloi, who previously served a four-year term, was re-elected alongside most of his existing board members. The election saw John Mathane from Gauteng North appointed as vice-president, replacing Shireen Noble, while Kesaoleboga Molotsane from Athletics Free State took over as athletes’ representative. Moloi expressed confidence in continuing ASA’s progress, emphasising goals such as securing sponsorships and appointing a permanent CEO.
