# City Power has cut off the electricity supply to the entire Riverpark area in Alexandra. This as the power utility’s crackdown on illegal electricity connections in Riverpark, which turned into a community protest as residents blocked the entrance of the Alexandra Service Delivery Centre earlier this week.
