# The GOOD Party says it has written to the Stellenbosch Municipal Manager in the Western Cape, to urgently address critical infrastructure upgrades at the Jamestown Cemetery. The party recently conducted an oversight visit to the cemetery, where it found serious stormwater drainage issues. GOOD’s, Marius van Stade, says flooding caused by inadequate infrastructure is leading to water overflowing into the burial grounds, threatening the dignity of the site, the integrity of graves, and safe public access:
