# The DA in Tshwane is demanding the immediate reinstatement of the unstructured supplementary service data application system for Expanded Public Works Programme applicants. The system was introduced to address several critical issues with the previous manual data-capturing process. The DA’s, Thabisile Vilakazi, says these include delays in data capturing due to limited capacity and insufficient personnel, and allegations that the previous system favoured certain councillors and political parties:
