SA urged to increase its global minerals exploration share [SOUND]

# The Council for Mineral Technology wants South Africa to increase its global minerals exploration share in order to boost economic growth and job creation. The call comes amid the gazetting of the 2025 Minerals Resources Development Bill by Minerals Minister Gwede Mantashe. The bill aims to modernise the sector, attract investment, and unlock the country’s vast mineral potential amid growing global demand.
