# KwaZulu-Natal premier Thamsanqa Ntuli says only collaboration between business and the state in the port system can yield efficient and responsive port operations. He was part of the official launch of the Facility Operator Agreement at the Port of Richards Bay on Tuesday. Ntuli says this milestone aligns with the objectives of the province’s Maritime Strategy, which calls for intensified efforts to grow the economy, increase exports, and create sustainable employment through a robust and competitive maritime sector:
