UDM Gauteng slams Education Department for cutting subsidies to independent schools [SOUND]

# UDM says it is alarmed by the Gauteng Education Department slashing subsidies to more than 290 independent schools. Subsidised independent schools in 2024 were reduced by 20-percent for secondary and 18-percent for primary schools because of budgetary constraints.
