# The City of Tshwane says this week, a series of public participation meetings began, as part of the metro’s process to seek input regarding the draft Informal Trading and Township Economy by-law. The metro is seeking comments from residents and businesses on the best way to enable and regulate informal trading and stimulate township economies. Mayoral committee member for Economic Development and Spatial Planning, Sarah Mabotsa, says the by-law will also update Tshwane’s local laws to align with new legislation:
