# The Public Service Association says it will not stand idle whilst institutions that serve the working class are dismantled in the name of technocratic expediency. Last week, the High Court in Pietermaritzburg ruled that Ithala Bank can fully resume its operations. The Prudential Authority initiated provisional liquidation proceedings against Ithala earlier this year, prompting the freezing of the state-owned bank’s accounts.
