63 new mobile clinics to serve rural and remote communities in the Western Cape

# The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness has launched 63 new and replacement mobile clinics to serve rural and remote communities. The 119-million-rand investment includes six clinics for school health services. Operating across five rural districts, the clinics provide vaccinations, chronic medication, and screenings. Designed with input from frontline nurses, the vehicles feature improved ventilation, solar power, and mounted equipment. MEC Mireille Wenger says this initiative seeks to bring quality healthcare to hard-to-reach areas.
