# The Freedom Front Plus is encouraging non-profit organisations in Gauteng, whose funding applications for the 2025/2026 cycle have been rejected, to apply for an appeal. The party’s Anton Alberts says the appeal process is important because additional information can be submitted to the Department of Social Development as reasons for reconsideration. He adds that organisations that were unaware of the deadline should still submit their applications:
