# A total of 348 suspects were arrested for various criminal offences in Villieria and Silverton, Tshwane, during Operation Shanela on Thursday. Police spokesperson, Johan van Dyk, says they were arrested for crimes ranging from murder, rape, armed robbery and assault. He says a roadblock in Silverton led to the detention of 73 undocumented individuals, who are currently undergoing legal processing for deportation:
