Sixteen fatal crashes recorded on Western Cape roads in a week [SOUND]

# The Western Cape Department of Mobility is urging all road users to take personal responsibility for road safety. The department’s spokesperson, Muneera Allie, says between Tuesday last week and Sunday, 16 fatal crashes were recorded on provincial roads, resulting in the loss of 18 lives, a harsh reality of the devastating consequences of reckless and negligent driving. She says 267 speeding offences were also recorded:
