# The DA says it has introduced a Performing Animals Protection Amendment Bill in Parliament to protect the rights of people with disabilities to access public and private spaces with their guide dogs and assistance animals. The party’s Wendy Alexander says this will prevent them from being denied access to places because of their animals. She says the DA Bill will protect the access of assistance animals accompanying vision-impaired people to private and public spaces:
