# Eleven classrooms at Riverlea High School in the south of Johannesburg were gutted by fire on Sunday evening. Johannesburg Emergency Management Services spokesperson, Xolile Khumalo says the firefighters responded to a fire incident call in Riverlea, and on arrival they found a local high school on fire. She says eleven classes were completely gutted by fire:
