More resources on the cards to meet demand for safety escorts in Cape Town [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town says it has seen a continued increase in requests for safety escorts, as staff and service providers come under attack. Over seven months between September 2024 and March 2025, the City of Cape Town’s Law Enforcement Department has facilitated one-thousand-925 safety escorts to various service departments.
