# The Tshwane Metro Police will be launching its Easter period operations in Hammanskraal today. The focus of the operations will be on decreasing road accidents, fatalities, injuries and road traffic offences over the Easter period. Key focus routes include the N1, N4 and R21. Mayor Nasiphi Moya will be leading the launch and will also unveil TMPD’s new fleet. Fatalities during the 2024 Easter period were higher than in 2023 in Tshwane, with 13 deaths recorded on the roads.
